Everglades Favorites (40)
slide show
Living in Southern Florida, I was drawn to the grasslands, strands, waterways and wildlife of southerns Florida. This gallery is composed of some of my favorite images from this fascinating area.
Ancient Sites of Athens (22)
slide show
During the summer of 2012 I spent a month in Greece with my husband. We took weekends in Meteora, Thessaloniki and Santorini , and spent the week in Athens. During the week, I enjoyed museums and exploring and shopping. These photos were taken on some of those days emphasizing the ancient sites.
Meteora Revisited (29)
slide show
About 30 years ago, my family and I "discovered" Meteora. At the time the monasteries were preserved but not restored nor well known. The ancient artworks were dark with age and there was a sacred feeling to the monasteries --quiet and removed from daily life. My husband and I returned in the summer of 2012. Today the interiors are airy and restored. Busloads of tourists pull up to the monasteries to admire and pay respect to these holy places on a daily basis. But if you go early, or to one of the lesser visited monasteries, you can still find that sense of peace, solitude and serenity that I remembered.
Florida (36)

I lived in Ft. Lauderdale for about one year and was fortunate enough to have time to explore. Here are some of the images I created while out learning about Florida.
