And the Columns Caught the Light
8/30/2012, 1/80 sec., f/11, ISO 100, using an 18-200 mm telephoto lens at focal length of 105mm.
I was shooting the tops of the columns of the Temple of Zeus when I glanced back and noticed that the light had shifted to illuminate and define the base of the columns. When I knelt down to photograph them I saw the monastery on the top of Lycabettus Hill was also highlighted. While the telephoto makes it looks as if there is parkland between the two, there is truly a whole lot of city between the two.
