Lil Spearfish Falls with Frame of Iced Branches
The first time I went to photograph Little Spearfish Falls in winter, I arrived late morning. This allowed more sunlight into the photo, but also resulted in loss of some of the ice frozen around the falls. While I was photographing three large pieces of the ice broke free. It's a trade-off between the beautiful morning light ( seen here) and the stunning ice surrounding the falls(seen in other photos). The frosted frame is a beauty there through out the day.
